These six videos present Spanish words for kids in context and with images of Mexico.

The Spanish Words Kids Love videos use short sentences, repetition and beautiful images of Mexico to teach important verbs and high-frequency vocabulary. That’s why these videos for novice learners are a perfect way to learn first words in Spanish.

First, the videos introduce the target vocabulary in full sentences with clear voice over narration. Then, there is a question-answer segment with choice questions to review the target structures and encourage kids to pronounce the words.

Free Support Materials for Videos

Each of the videos also has free printable picture cards of the vocabulary. The cards are black and white, so they are less expensive to print and children can color them. In addition, several of the videos have printable activities such as flip books and fill-in-the-vowel pages.

There are extension activity suggestions for each video, too.  For example, you’ll find games using the picture cards, hands-on activities and ideas for role-plays.

We have also included cultural and language notes for the content in the Spanish Words for Kids videos.
