Fun for Spanish Teachers has wonderful materials for children learning Spanish. I’m highlighting two of their resources – printable mini-books and an activity book that includes songs – as materials for summer Spanish. Fun for Spanish Teachers has also generously donated a free printable mini-book to Spanish Playground readers.

Fun for Spanish Teachers materials are organized by theme and fit into all school programs. I have a couple favorites to suggest – printable mini-books and an activity book that includes songs. Be sure to check out the other resources on their TpT store.

Activity Book and Printable Mini-Books
Cuaderno de Práctica – This download has an activity book and six songs that tie into themes. The materials can be used independently or to reinforce vocabulary in stories. The themes include basic concepts and vocabulary like feelings, family, season and weather, animals and more. You will find activities like matching, word searches, labeling and drawing, printable mini-books, vocabulary and many others.
I love that there are songs to go with these activities. I am a big fan this music because it is clear, pretty and easy to sing. There is plenty of vocabulary, but it is focused and doesn’t overwhelm Spanish learners.
Mini-books – Fun for Spanish Teachers also has an excellent set of printable mini-books to print and color. There are 16 books in the set. With these printable mini-books, kids review vocabulary related to themes. Coloring and making these mini-books is a good hands-on learning activity and a perfect way to reinforce vocabulary in stories that they read.
You can find more printable activities on the Fun for Spanish Teachers TPT store. You can find their songs for kids learning Spanish on cdbaby and iTunes under the name Spanish Together.

This is great! Since today is the first “official” day of summer, I just printed this out and we’ll be coloring it today. 🙂
