Printable activities for basic concepts in Spanish.

This is a collection of printables to work with basic concepts in Spanish. These worksheets, or láminas in Spanish, are provided by the World Association of Early Childhood Educators (Asociación Mundial de Educadores Infantiles). They are simple, short and the instructions are in Spanish. All of the worksheets are picture-based, so in addition to practicing basic concepts in Spanish like adentro-afuera and largo-corto, children can learn and practice common vocabulary. For example, láminas 7 and 33 are great for talking about animals, and láminas 12, 14 and 26 all have pictures of clothes.

The key to making these activities effective Spanish learning tools is to do them with your child and to talk about the pictures together. The pictures provide a springboard for conversation and a context to make the language clear.

You can preview the worksheets of basic concepts in Spanish by clicking on Ver lámina, and if you click imprimir (print) and open the pdf they are much clearer and easier to read.
