Look at the picture with your child. Read the questions that follow and answer them together. Do not worry about understanding every word in the questions. You can often understand the main idea without understanding each word. The ability and the confidence to listen (or read) for the main idea is a very important language-learning skill. It is good to guess at a meaning that makes sense in the context. As your child hears words repeated, she will understand them and how they are used.

1. ¿Cuántos caballos hay en la foto?

2. Indica el caballo de color café.

3. Indica los caballos que tienen una mancha blanca en la cara.

4. A los caballos les gusta correr. ¿A ti te gusta correr también?

5. Los caballos están con sus amigos.  ¿Te gusta estar con tus amigos o te gusta estar solo?
