This is such a simple, happy song; I love it!  The actions reinforce the parts of the body in Spanish and also the verb decir as children nod and shake their heads with the phrase digo sí, digo no.  The word “corro” is used in Spain, and refers to a children’s song.  In Mexico, the common word would be ronda, and it is certainly possible to change the line and sing “Esta ronda sigo yo.”

Some of the body parts are expressed as diminutives – piececitos, manitas, cabecita, and deditos.  This is a very common, natural structure and one that children understand and learn to produce easily.  To watch the video of the song with body parts in Spanish click here.  These are the words and a translation.
