I just love feeling love and peace from my family. My family sometimes gives me Precious Moments figurines or Swarovski small items. I am a Spanish teacher and I am always looking for resources.

I love to give and/receive a new calendar for the upcoming year, with family photos in them (even better when the photo corresponds to the month : ).

One of my favorite gifts I received was my grandparents being able to come for my Quinceñera 16 years ago.It was the first time they ever came to the Unites States from Guatemala. I was so happy to have them with me for one of the most important days of my life.

This sounds like it would be so fun to do with my kiddos! My favorite gifts are anything handmade by the kids or my hubby. This past year my husband gave me an envelope for each week of the year. Every Sunday afternoon, I open an envelope to reveal a date or special treat he has planned for me. It has been so fun! Hoping I get the same gift this year 😉

Two years ago my mother in law had spent hours scanning family photos from when her boys were little. I used the photos to create a photo book for her.

I gave my grandma a clay figure that I made. It represented her telling my sisters and me stories when we were little. For me, her stories were a fundamental part as I was growing up.

I love all the homemade gifts from the kiddos as well. Last year we set up a scavenger hunt for the kids with clues about our vacation to Disney World. . . it was so much fun and they were so excited 🙂

One Christmas my parents didn’t have much money and I was given a little boy rubber dolly. His under garments were painted on. I made him clothes and played with him for hours every day. He was my favorite toy for many years.
